Licensed Clinical Psychologist in Friendship Heights, DC and available online for clients located in DC, MD, and VA

Approach

My passion is in working together with my clients to help them overcome anxiety, stress, panic, Posttraumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), depression, relationship problems, grief and loss, problems with motivation, medically unexplained symptoms, behavior issues, and inattention. I enjoy helping people develop self-compassion and live more authentically so they can go from surviving to thriving.

I integrate evidence-based techniques into treatment that I tailor to meet the unique needs of each individual with whom I work. I am able to provide services remotely to clients physically located in Maryland, DC, and Virginia and in-person in Friendship Heights, DC. My practice is inclusive and I welcome people of all sexual orientations, gender identities, races, ethnicities, and abilities.

Evidence-based treatment

I practice several specialties. These include EMDR, which is a science-backed treatment to help lessen the impact of past traumatic events. I also teach mindfulness skills, which helps people to connect nonjudgmentally with themselves and with the present. I treat couples through PACT, an intensive relationship therapy based in neuroscience.

In-person and remote options

My office is conveniently located 3 blocks from the Friendship Heights metro stop. If meeting in person doesn’t work for you, secure video visits are also an option.
